Whats up, Turkey? This is one of my favorite go to weeknight meals. Its quick, easy and a healthy alternative to a beef burger. Ground Turkey Burgers with Feta, Sundried Tomatoes and Arugula 1 lb. ground turkey 4 oz crumbled feta cheese 2 tbs chopped sundried tomatoes in olive oil 1/2 cup chopped arugula or fresh spinach 1 tsp salt 1 tsp ground pepper 1 tsp chile chipotle powder 1 tsp olive oil Preheat grill to high. While grill is heating prepare the turkey. Place the turkey, feta cheese, sundried tomatoes, arugula, salt, pepper, chipotle powder and olive oil in a large bowl and mix with a fork until all ingredients are incorporated. Form the turkey into 4 - 6 oz burgers. Grill until throughly cooked, approximately 3 - 4 minutes on each side. During the last 2 minutes of grilling, add a slice of cheese if desired and continue to grill until melted. Remove burgers from grill and enjoy. I like these burgers served over arugula salad with a nice dose of hot sauce. However, if it’s a real hamburger style burger you’re craving, feel free to serve it on a bun with all the fixin’s! Either way they are delicious and super easy to make. Enjoy!
