Whats wrong with people who run over dogs and cats and dont stop? I know a person shouldnt risk their life avoiding a dog or cat but is it too much to ask that you slow down, pull over, do something? Maybe not on the interstate but in town? Little Angel (a stray)was hit by a car, rolled under a truck and was left bleeding in the street. Shes licking my ankle as i type this. If not for Morgan, Peggy, Terry and me she would have been left to die a horrible, lingering death or hit by another car and done in. Anne McConchie and her husband picked up a yorkie hit today and took it to Dr. Graef. I guess its up to us to do the right thing. We need to also make sure when an animal is injured that animal control is notified. An animal control officer should be certified in euthanasia and RESPOND when called, especially after hours.
