What’s new about the Rose Barracks recycling/trash system? *120-Liter bins will be replaced by 240-Liter bins; *3 bins instead of four: black = refuse; green = paper/cardboard; yellow = plastics & metal cans; *Pickups will be every two weeks instead of weekly; *No more separate collection of metal cans; *Blue containers and bins will disappear; *Cans, other light metals, like aluminum foil, trays, will go into yellow containers; *Heavier type metals and larger items need to be brought to Recycle Yard; *No more separate collection of paper and cardboard; *Brown containers will disappear from barracks, motor pools and admin areas; *Paper and cardboard will be collected and mixed in green containers *Larger cardboard boxes and larger amounts of cardboard need to be brought to Recycle Yard.
