When Carlina was 19 days old on July 16 1987 when she was kidnappped from a hospital. She was then missing for the next 23 years. A woman name Ann Pettiway had stolen little Carlina away from her family and raised her as her own. At the age of 23, Nejdra Nance found that the images of the kidnapped Carlina White resembled infant photos of herself as Nejdra and those of her daughter, Samani. In January 2011, DNA profiling confirmed that she was the missing Carlina White. Pettiway turned her self in after Carlina was reunited with her real parents using DNA, and was given 12 years in prison. God bless you Calina. We are so happy for you and will remember you.
