When David wrote Psalms 16, he was under the affliction of Saul who was persecuting him and trying to persuade him to seek other gods. It is such a great chapter that reminds us where our focus should be, especially in trying times. Psalms 16 1 Preserve me, O God, for in You I put my trust 2 .....My goodness is nothing apart from you 5 O Lord, You are the portion of my inheritance and my cup; You maintain my lot 6 The lines have have fallen to me in pleasant places; Yes I have a good inheritance 8 I HAVE SET THE LORD ALWAYS BEFORE ME; BECAUSE HE IS AT MY RIGHT HAND I SHALL NOT BE MOVED 9 Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoices; My flesh will also rest in hope 11.....IN YOUR PRESENCE IS THE FULLNESS OF JOY; AT YOUR RIGHT HAND ARE PLEASURES FOREVERMORE! So many wonderful pieces of scripture have been shared that its hard to know if Ive repeated one. Fortunately the power remains in the truth of Gods word, no matter how many times it gets repeated. My family and I continue to me moved as we learn more of Wyatts story, and our faith is strengthened daily by these miracles. WE WILL NOT STOP PRAYING!!!!! Seth
