When God seems silent and does not seem to be doing what we thought He should be doing, how do you handle that? Some get angry at God and blame Him for this or that. Others allow their faith to wane and doubt if God understands or really cares about them personally or the state they find themselves in? Theres a good lesson for us in the book of Habakkuk who was going through a hard situation and God just didnt seem to care or do anything about it, or so the prophet thought. Listen to what God says to this prophet, Look among the nations! Observe! Be astonished! Wonder! Because I am doing something in your days--You would not believe if you were told. For the Christ follower that often finds himself in situations like the prophet, these words are good to ponder. Take a moment and do an honest evaluation of whats happening. We might not see all that is going on around us or with hurting loved ones, but God is at work and will accomplish His perfect will for His glory. I take great encouragement in this and understand than my response needs to be one of Faithful trust in the living Lord and to walk righteously.....regardless. One day it will all be clear, but now, well, now, lets let God be God and we do what we know we are supposed to be doing for His glory. Have a great day friends!
