When I am afraid, I put my trust in you. In God, whose word I praise, in God I trust; I shall not be afraid. What can flesh do to me? ~ Psalm 56:3-4 Never let the flesh get in the way of telling the truth. Regardless of who the truth is directed towards; whether it is self or someone else, the Lords truth must prevail. If we are to be representative of Christs love, then we must be willing to sever our relationships to the natural. We must also be willing to connect or accept things in the spirit. Im learning that severing ties to people that are steadfast in holding on to their nature is purposed; they are unwilling to connect to Christ. I can do this without being malicious, hateful, spiteful, and evil. Ive learned to thank God for the revelation, then move on to the next level. Moving to the next level doesnt make me better, but it does get me closer to the Father. If a person chooses to stay at his or her current level or submerge themselves into sin, then we have the obligation to inform them and move on. Someone is drowning, do what we can without becoming victims ourselves. Sometimes it takes us getting into the water and it that takes strength; great spiritual awareness from God. Other times it takes a life-preserver. The point is to not let their sinking pull us into sin. Hopefully what God has provided us to give to the suffering, they will receive so they too can move to solid ground (higher levels). Associating with those with like spirits is also challenging. We too often dont want to hear the truth, but we must come to realize that flesh is standing in the way. We must constantly pray for the flesh to move so the spirit can shine through. God, we all are not perfect, but through your will, we are made whole. Mend the broken spirit, so they/we can be vessels of truth. Always in your name dear Lord. Amen.
