When I am on the road I do not engage in hard core writing endeavors due to the fact that my main goal is creating imagery. Thus, once on site, I exert my creative energies toward the use of a camera and not the keyboard. While riding shotgun today, I took the time to look over the five decades of notes and data on hunting and predator calling that Ive amassed and got a headache just thumbing through it! Although I started keeping very basic notes at age 14, and was hand writing little adventure stories at age 11, I have to give a salute to my major professor, Darrell Ueckert, who instilled in me, during my years at Texas Tech, the importance of maintaining substantial and accurate field data for future reference. It will make my book on calling even more interesting to the reading audience...I think!! LOL!!!
