When I asked about help with ideas to make my other 2 kids still feel as loved as before, and equally to their sister, many of you suggested I involve them in her care. Im not sure many of you read in the comments that i do. They help when she gets a bottle instead of the boob. They hkld her, they help with bath and diaper changes, picking out her clothes and blankets. They just miss the one on one time, and that is where I am struggling to find balance. They both have aspergers... my daughter is more severe than my son. They are very high functioning, but have a hard time understanding why mommy cannot do as much as she used to all the time. Talking to my son about the basics of how it worked helped him a little. He is 6 1/2. My daughter is almost 5, but has a hard time understanding concepts. I have been looking into books that may help. But, here is a video of this morning. Brynae had a tummy ache, and mikelle was trying to help soothe her.
