When I bought my 2010 FJR in Aug of 2012, the 1st thing I did was order a new Gel seat from the Yamaha dealer. Needless to say it has been a big disappointment. I did about 400 km yesterday & got home with a sore ass. Today I did another 250 km today but my ass was killing me after about 80 km. I have been trying to take note of any seat related posts. I have seen threads on Corbin, Sergeant & Russell Day Long seats & I am still not convinced the expense would alleviate my problem. Today, I met a fella who has been riding for 30 years & says he has tried all the those previously mentioned custom seats & he has been using an Airhawk seat cushion for the last 5 years & he will never go back to a custom seat again. Have any of you used this Airhawk seat? If so, which model would I order for my FJR as rider & which would I order for the passenger?
