When I bought my condo 9 yrs ago, I wanted to replace the brick patio. I asked someone to stop by to give me a quote, he did, I told him Id get back to him, but he didnt speak good English, I came home the next night, and, much to my surprise, my patio was gone...he stole it...(LOL).....right down to dirt and mud (it was pouring), so I had to move forward with the new patio. This AM, I was notified (by a door hanger) that the gas company would be doing work on my street and I may have to call them to come back out to turn my heat and hot water back on. Driving home from work, fearing the worst, no heat or hot water all weekend, I could never have imagined that it could even get better...a whole section of concrete driveway is missing. (They must have thought I wouldnt notice) Seriously? Since its snowed already, doubtful that will be replaced before Spring. Im seriously thinking of going back to renting an apartment.....my landlord never stole a dang thing from me and fixed everything the day it broke. Being a homeowner is not always what its cracked up to be. Not happy, drank some wine...and going to bed. Sheesh!
