When I came to Hunter High School in 2010, they were ranked 12th in NYC. The next three years, we were ranked 10th, then 8th, then 4th. In 2013, we won our first tournament in 7 years. A month later, we won another one. To the boys of Hunter High: - If this is not enough, then you are on the right team - If you are a freshman or sophomore and want to steal a starting spot, it is yours to take and someone elses to lose - If your off-season was good, then our preseason will be great - My seniors should leave the right way - as champions - My lower class men should start the right way - building a dynasty - For the ones who play season-round, prepare yourselves properly - For the ones who play other sports year-round, respect the realization that this means more to some than others Eyes on the real prize, boys....and stick together. We few, we happy few, we band of brothers. For he today that sheds his blood for me shall be my brother.
