When I felt that I had gotten to the end of my rope, God moved in - TopicsExpress

When I felt that I had gotten to the end of my rope, God moved in my behalf once more. Last month, I received a letter from the food stamp office that I was losing my food stamps for the month of October due to me not reporting to Texas Workforce Commission for training (to help me get a job). I ignored the letter due to me applying for SSI. I called the food stamp office and told them my situation but they might as well said tough luck. I had to reapply for my food stamps, and get a letter from my doctor saying I was disabled and take it to the food stamp office. I was embarrassed because I broke down and told them with me having no income how was I suppose to eat. They replied back with the food bank. They set me up an appointment for October 14, 2014 for a telephone interview. On Friday, October 3, 2014, the food stamp office called me and asked if I would want to do my interview on the 6th or the 8th of Oct. I did it on Wednesday, the 8th. I had a man interviewer and explained to him that sometimes I dont have gas money to go like I like to. He put in all the information into the computer and I received my full benefit on the 9th of October. Praise the Lord that I got to go grocery shopping.
