When I filed to run for House District 19, I knew I didnt have - TopicsExpress

When I filed to run for House District 19, I knew I didnt have much political experience and I certainly didnt have the time to devote to a campaign. I really thought that is what would make me a good politician, I didnt owe anyone any political favors and this would not be some hobby for me to pass the time in retirement. I was going to give it my all and try to do what was best for the state that I love so much. Other than the State of Montana, Family, and politics my other love is beer and my family owned brewery. We just passed 2 1/2 years open and after discussing it with family and friends our business is just too young yet for me to devote any extra time to politics. Especially with 2 young girls who I dont get to see much as it is. Through the primary I kept telling myself that this first session I would just lay low and learn from the experience but as my wife reminded me I am still a Bowser and Bowsers dont half ass anything. If I get voted in I will give it my whole heart and devote so much time to it that my business and more importantly my family will suffer. Because of that I have decided to drop out of the race and revisit politics when I get a few more years under my belt and my business and family have matured to the point they will be alright without me for a few months. I appreciate all of the support I received and hope you all will support me when I decided to run again. Hopefully I see you all in the brewery soon, my favorite part about owning my own brewery is getting to talk to the people that come in to drink at my establishment. Thanks Again Evan Bowser
