When I first found out about Uplift Education and met their staff, I thought it was too good to be true. Joining the Uplift family was one of the best decisions I have ever made. It’s been an honor to work alongside colleagues that are passionate, dedicated, and do whatever it takes to support scholars in pursuing their dreams. The most beautiful reward of working for Uplift is the amazing scholars we work with. It is truly a privilege to learn their stories, hear the reasons why they believe a college education can improve the lives of their family and community, and see the passion they have to enroll in college and learn more about themselves than they ever imagined. Ana is one of our Uplift DREAMers. She wrote President Obama to thank him for supporting undocumented student’s access to higher education. We are beyond proud to find out that she will be an honored guest in President Obama’s State of the Union address this Tuesday. This is a testament of the hard work and collaboration between Uplift staff and families to ensure academic success for all.
