When I have a heavy decision weighing on me I usually ask for my mothers opinion. I do this knowing she will always answer me with the following statement thats a decision you have to make Andrea. She usually follows that up by praying a simple prayer that God leads me in the right direction. I must say I agree with my mother 150%! This is why I find it extremely frustrating when others give their opinion on what path I should take! Often times, I find myself covering my ears like a little child, not wanting to hear what they have to say. I simply dont wanting others words going around in my head while I decide what is best for me! At the end of the day, I feel like life changing decisions are between myself and my creator. Anyone elses opinion is just that...their opinion. At the end of the day, the best way to support someone you care for who is making a MAJOR decision is to listen and be there for them. It is not to voice what you feel would be best. Unless they ask for it.
