When I married Morgan and moved into his home two years ago, he had an outside cat named Callie (for calico, of course). Shed been spayed and was more than 17 years old. She gradually moved from outside to the sun porch, making some trips outside to her old haunts but always coming back to sleep on her cat bed on the porch. In the last year she slowed down and in the last month we could tell it would not be long. Heather found her this morning, under the sun porchs bookcase; shed made her final trip. Have a lovely trip across the Rainbow Bridge, dear Callie-Cat. Say hello to Bert, Figaro, Motley, Murray, Huusker, Miss Kitty and Maxine. Theyre waiting for you.
