When I moved back to the motherland 3 years ago, I had many fears, - TopicsExpress

When I moved back to the motherland 3 years ago, I had many fears, some big and some small. One of my biggest ones was driving on our roads and colliding with someone/something. During one of my very first ventures, I narrowly missed a boda boda carrying 2 passengers (a woman and a baby). Shaken, I told a couple of people that I was terrified to go out on the road again, said people assured me it was only a matter of time before I did actually collide with one. Feeling somewhat comforted (NOT), I got on with it and have been amazed that since this incidence I have not had even a near miss. Well, till this morning that is. Driving to work I did collide with a boda boda carrying a female passenger or rather he collided with me. It would have to be near a boda boda stage as well. Having gathered my wits, I am amazed all is well, I am in one piece and so is he and most importantly the passenger. Even more amazed that the boda boda guys at the stage looked on, said nothing and went about their business, for a few seconds images of being lynched flashed through my mind. Thank you Lord.
