When I read I Corin 15:51-58, there are three people I always think of: Stephen, JFK, and my mom. When Stephen was being stoned, what he felt spiritually was nothing like what the average human would expect. He felt forgiveness for those participating in his execution, and he felt that kind of peace that transcends all understanding (Phil 4:7). JFK had this same passage in Corin marked in his Bible. I believed in my heart that he felt that same peace that Stephen knew as he lay dying from a snipers bullets. As I spent my moms final minutes on this earth with her, I felt that same peace that she was feeling when her spirit reached through that void to find the face and the arms of her beloved Savior. The tears from her eyes told it all. I love the words that God gave the Day Bros for this song that is so full of promise and encouragement. https://youtube/watch?v=7DG052rsP3Y
