When I started microlending thru Kiva in 2007, every loan got funded. There was terrific interest because Muhammad Yunus had just won the Nobel. Now interest is waning and many loan requests are expiring unfunded. It only takes $25 to make a difference and at the end you can take your money back out or reinvest.
