When I started on FB, I told my girls there r people who “LIKE” my post. They gave me education abt a few versions of LIKE. DIPLOMATIC LIKE –since I post, people just politely LIKE to say “gd to know”. SYMPATHETIC LIKE- since I post so often, frens pity me for lack of interest so they LIKE to encourage me. As I became FB aunty, I see a few other types of LIKE. APATHETIC LIKE – frens who tell me to keep posting bcos they agree n like my posts but will not communicate the LIKE (so no one knows they hv read). EMPHATIC LIKE-some frens told me they LIKE only what they seriously agree/like abt my post so they click to emphasize their LIKE. EMPATHETIC LIKE- people who understand/relate to my post n want to communicate that to me by LIKE. Regardless of what ur thumbs up means, I LIKE bcos every LIKE means we hv connected even if we can’t meet often or for yrs. Today is a special day for hubby n me-I superLIKE. Hope u hv a day u LIKE !
