When I take a long road trip, I cant help but think of Prophet - TopicsExpress

When I take a long road trip, I cant help but think of Prophet Musa (Moses) AS journey from Egypt to Madyan. The city of Madyan (aka Midian) was most likely on the East side of the Gulf of Aqaba in todays Jordan. So the distance that Musa traveled on foot must have been at least 250 miles!!! Imagine walking for 250 miles without any preparation! Musa fled the City in a hurry fearing for his life, so most likely he didnt any food or water with him. He definitely didnt have any maps, just the prayer that my Lord may show me the right way. All for the sake of Allah and to support the weak and oppressed.
