When I turned 18 a local legend and now great mate Cameron McIntyre invited me to a hip hop show up stairs at the old Exchange and thus was introduced to a thriving local scene. It was amazing... It completely changed my life and opinion of hip hop. We (DLT) started doing our own gigs and finally got to record. Our first ever track was recorded at Johnny Rows with the help of Garth Jankovic and the other members of The Northward. Over the years I learnt about the 5 Hip Hop elements, how to structure verses and was shown nothing but love from a young age.
