When I visited Crossover Bible Fellowship on yesterday I found that I visited because God ordered my steps to do so. It was baptism day at Crossover. One young man, around 12 years old, was getting baptized. As his family surrounded the baptismal pool, the father of the young man was given an opportunity to speak. He said that he never thought they would be at the moment where his son was getting baptized. He said his son was born premature and only weighing 2 lbs. He talked about the daily hospital visits and prayer that they did over their son. All of those things which Tanisha and I are all too familiar with. He said that they have been able to see Gods hand in his sons life and to be at that moment where his son would acknowledge Gods son as savior and Lord was priceless. After the baptism had taken place, Pastor Blake told the congregation that it was by Gods design that I was there to hear that story because of what Tanisha and I have gone through with Tennon. After service was over a lady in the church came over to me and told me a story about her premature son that matched Tennons story almost exactly. She said that her son is now 18 years old and about to graduate high school and is an active athlete. Its as if God just wanted to give me a reminder of not only what He can do but also of who He is....The Great I AM! As if God was saying Just in case youre getting a little weary in your journey. Just in case you may have forgotten, I want you to hear the testimonies of those who have gone down that same path! Thank you Lord for a reminder of your grace, mercy, and healing power.
