When I was a London bus driver there was a homeless old man who used to hang around in Chelsea Worlds End area. He always used to sit on a bench and read books. He behaved and spoke like a proper educated gent but he did smell. One day he came up to me at the bus stand and asked me to lend him £20.00 to pay off a fine. So I gave him the money with out hesitation. All the bus men and women standing near me said thats the last youll see of that, why did you give him the money? About 6 weeks latter he turned up at the bus stand and gave me the £20.00 back. After that it became an ongoing situation, he would borrow £10 or £20 then after a few weeks he would give it back. How sweet is that peeps???
