We r plagued by so many core issues I]Even the smallest of rains can hamper our commutation making it difficult for us to reach our workplace or even hospitals in times of emergency. Ii]Our roads are dug and built at least twice every year with a large part of our tax money, but still there are hundreds of potholes every km, some as big as craters to ensure our backbone has a tough time. The opposition sits quite, because they wait for their chance to steal at the end of the tenure iIi]Citizens lack faith in government machinery, security system or even the judicial system.A girl who is raped/harassed , a middle-aged man duped by investors ,an old man who does not get his pension, no one can dare to approach the police station or court. Iv] All accused of the acid victim sonali have been let out on bail for lack of evidence. A girl who waits for 30 yrs to nail her rapists, ends up not being able to identify her tormentor. What justice can we expect here? The basic reason for all these indifferences, as we know is “CORRUPTION” Most of us may say, how can we help? What difference does it make if we watch a news channel instead of a sports channel? How would it help? IT WORKS!! TRP FACTOR!! GOVT. KEEPS AN EYE ON WHAT YOU ARE MORE CONCERENED FOR ! THEY got Anna Hazare to break his agitation, only because they gauged the public sentiments. They allotted 17 water gulping industries in May this year in Maharashtra despite the severe drought, only because they realized that ppl were not too keen to pursue the poor farmers case or to punish the perpetrators like the irrigation minister ( who owns 92 firms), Mr Ajit Pawar and Mr Nitin Gadkari who are all big time industrialists. None of us bothered to even check the health status of the peasant who fasted for 67 days at azad maidan or the ganga bachao sanyasi, who lost his life. Today the uttarakand disaster could have been avoided if the swami’s warnings or CAGs warnings had been paid heed to. Naxals fight against the system which restricts them from cutting trees or feeding themselves with the natural resources, which the political parties are encashing on. Can our voice never be heard? Never doubt the credibility of a group of committed people. That is the only thing that has ever brought about a change. Govt has censored media from depicting Anna and Arvind Kejriwals fight for over an year now. Mass msging has been completely banned. No news channel or media REPORTED THEIR MOVEMENTS, but the voice and struggle reached even the American president Obama , who has sought appointment from Anna Hazare in oct’ 2013. He went on to praise the crusaders nonviolent fight against such corrupt forces. These ministers would never feel ashamed even after watching certain individuals [watch India fights back] giving up their life for a valiant cause. The same soldiers whom the government ignored even after they were beheaded and denied basic compensation, are fighting every breath to save lakhs of stranded pilgrims at the cost of their own lives [ without bothering about the callous approach of both govt and citizens] . We are accountable for every penny that we earn. Why can’t we question the babus and netas who have a massive change in their wealth and lifestyle, once they enter politics? Never has there been a suo-moto enquiry initiated against the ill-gotten wealth of any of the netas and babus. Its time we change our attitude. WE NEED TO MAKE THE GOVT. FEEL; WE R CONCERNED FOR EVRY LIFE. Create awareness among your circle to make the govt. and the opposition feel, we have an eye on them. OUR SOLDIERS AND NOT THESE CORRUPT BABUS ARE OUR MESSIAHS. “Switch from entertainment to social issues at least once every alternate day”. Else this govt. would eat up our schedule and divert our mind to keep us involved in fixed cricket matches, which seem to be an everyday affair now.
