When I was a child, I always wanted to have a pet Ankylosaurus, and/or a pet Plesiosaur, Ichthyosaur or Mosasaur. Though I grew up on an island, we werent close enough to the water to have a large aquatic reptile (it was surrounded by fresh water anyways), and a large, wide bodied ankylosaur was definitely out of the question in our house. This ankylosaur scute is about as close to the real thing that I have, and I have been fortunate enough to possess marine reptile skulls and bones, which Ive shown recently. I have many ankylosaur and marine reptile toy figures to boot.
