When I was cheer leading sponcer in Pawhuska, there was a cheer - TopicsExpress

When I was cheer leading sponcer in Pawhuska, there was a cheer the girls would do that always made me smile, even a little more so than some of the other cheers. Believe they still do it today, it is Lets get fired up. It was to fire up the crowd to cheer for the players. When I think of this cheer even today, it reminds me of Revelation 3:16. So because you are neither hot nor cold, I am about to spit you out of my mouth. If the players on the football field, basketball court or even on the mat went out with a lukewarm attitude, how well would they preform? God would love for us to be fired up for Him and dig in to be servants for Him. Next time you hear that cheer, I hope you will think about lukewarmness and realize that perhaps HOT would be better! Food for thought, enjoy the rest of this weekend!
