When I was home a couple weeks ago my sister Mindi Beane Wolfe and I went through a bunch of stuff at Dads. One of the things he still has is Moms bike. Mom was an avid cyclist, with 14 RAGBRAIs under her belt, one 3-month long trip across the country with Cycle America, and bazillions of miles around town. Next week it will be 22 years since she passed away. Looking at her bike is like looking at a ghost. Its exactly the way she left it. Even her helmet, gloves and watch are still hanging on it. Weve been given strict instructions by Dad not to do anything with it until after hes gone some day.
