When I was in the 4th grade at school... in our music class they combined some dancing and it was clogging to be exact.....I loved clogging...I just would never tell my mom I was dancing ...lol. I was just having the best time until my sister spotted me clogging....my eyes met her eyes and I knew I was caught....it was now the end of my dancing or rather clogging career....lol. Right after school my little heart was beating fast and I was sweating profusely I knew my sister was going to spill the beans.....sure enough we got in the car and she said mom Linda was dancing in class. Mom said Linda were you dancing? I wanted to say no so I would not disappoint her or let God down and I said yes mom I was and I loved it....she said now Linda we have a certain standard we maintain and I will write a note to your teacher and let her know you will not be participating in the dancing portion...I said mom please the kids will make fun of me...next class I took my note and handed it to the teacher she said ok Linda sit on the bench...my little boyfriend came to ask me to dance and I had to say no....I learned 2 lessons from that it is ok to be different and live by convictions and whatever you think you are doing where you wont get caught you will get caught....I love my mom and how I was raised...thank you mom
