When I was young and in my 20s I was so poor I fell through the hole in the bottom of the trough. I didnt have it easy with two boys to raise skimpy little if any child support, didnt cross my mind to get on welfare and didnt ask dad for help. I was in survival mode and made it through years of work, school, work, school. If I had it to do over again Id change a couple of things. That was when I was doing better. But over the years I had a lot as many of us do from childhood that was traumatic in some way, a lot of baggage to leave behind. Through wonderful people working with me telling me I was not what I said I slowly changed. I started dropping baggage bag by bag. Still leaving the baggage life puts on us behind because I choose not to hold onto it anymore. I watched a video tonight when Steve Harvey gave a motivational talk. He taught me something else. He used a flea that can jump 36 stuck in a jar so they didnt jump as high. That is when I realized that yesterays video I watched Born To Succeed tied in with this statement from me. I dont care how bug your thumb is NOBODY is going to put their thumb on me and hold me down ever. I will not accept it. And I will keep dumping the old bags because I WAS born to succeed. I already have and dont intend to stop until they put me in the ground!!!
