When I was younger and I was taught to pray. It was my favorite part of the whole religion thing. When I would pray, deeply... It was like... visiting some sacred place within myself. A place that felt deeply connected to my surroundings, more so than my interactive self. It was a place that maintained a sense of calm despite the obvious horror show that is the human predicament. Eventually, when I could no longer view all that exists through the lone scope of an indoctrinated religion... those deep prayer sessions stopped as well. But that sacred place within me didnt just go away. Its the same place I go when Im deeply submerged in writing. A place that maintains a sense of calm despite the obvious horror show that is the human predicament. With that in mind... this rainy night demo is a prayer... a song... a poor mans spell
