When I went back home this weekend several people told me they enjoyed hearing my stories and that I still find crazy things to get into..... So heres another good one!! Only me... Saturday I went for a run in Booneville and I was thinking about how I would love to have a bike at my moms to ride when I come in town. Im terribly partial but I think Booneville is one of the prettiest places around to run/ ride in. Many of you also know the recent troubles Ive had riding my wal-mart clearance bike.... So when I rounded the corner where the hillbilly mall is in Booneville I stopped dead in my tracks when I saw two black bikes. I got up close to them to check them out.... They were Trek bikes.... Complete with gps systems, padded seats, water bottle holders and all the bells and whistles! I was amazed!!! I just knew I was about to get a bargain!!! I knelt down to check out the chains and gears and stuff( like I knew what I was looking at) and right as I was about to sit on one to see if it was my size..... The store owner came running out and said, Mam!!! Please dont test that!! Those bikes are not for sale! They belong to the two Mormons in here!! Ohhhhh how I felt so bad!!! Not only did my dream of owning a real bike get washed away but the poor bike owners had been watching me through the window touch their bikes and move their pedals and heavens to Betsy I almost tested one out right in front of them!!!!! Needless to say he did have another bike to sell me.... But I was so embarrassed I told him I just had to keep running!!! So if you are the proud owner of a REAL bike do watch where you park them!!! Theres a lot of crazy people out there!
