When I went to India a few weeks ago, I got pretty sick in Delhi and Agra. The phrase That really opens up the sluices at both ends has new meaning to me now. After using every public toilet I could find (no fun, let me tell you...) I had to choose whether to cut my trip short and go back to Bangalore. I determined that Id see the Raj Ghat memorial to Mahatma Gandhi, and decide afterwards. In a city of 22 million people, this 40-acre green-space gave me time to sit, ponder and relax in relative silence, surrounded by trees, grass and peaceful sounds. I snapped a few pix (including this one) and then decided I felt well enough to continue my trip.
