"When Jesus saw their faith, he said unto the sick of the palsy, - TopicsExpress

"When Jesus saw their faith, he said unto the sick of the palsy, son, thy sins be forgiven thee." - Mark 2:5 Reading through verses 1-4 of this passage may only reveal the physical effort put to work to get this sick man to Jesus for healing. However, Jesus saw beyond their visible effort (outward attitude) to get healing, He saw their faith (inward profession). It is one thing to be determined to get to a place to try out, it is another thing to go there with the mind that therein lies the ultimate answer. If the latter is the attitude of your mind, you will want to break every barrier in your path to get there. That was what the men did - they broke the roof! These four men bearing the man sick of palsy believed in their hearts that Jesus is the answer they are seeking and Jesus recognised this in them. This recognition on the part of Jesus was their big break. Friends, I pray that your commitment to Christ will not only be outward, your inward man will also be intune. Amen!
