He wrote to the Speaker to request the appointment of an independent 3rd party to investigate, and he suspended the two accused MPs from the Liberal caucus pending the results of the investigation.Trudeau has been decisive, transparent, and effective in this matter. Importantly, he has given the two NDP MPs who made the accusations the benefit of the doubt, while maintaining their anonymity. By contrast, the NDP appears to me more interested in exploiting this matter for partisan gain, with comments that are best described as naked sanctimony.
