When Mexican sports reporter Ines Sainz Gallo interviewed former Barcelona maestro Xavi tells press that he and other team mates were in awe of Arsenal, but only if they were released by Barca or maybe transfer listed early on in their career. He goes onto say “We all admired Arsenal Messi, Fabregas, Iniesta and even YAYA when he was there,we admired the way Arsenal played the manager the spirit and everything about the club” When asked about Messi rumours he said “Of course it is true, where else could you go and play beautiful football like at Barcelona? Arsenal of course, they remind us of ourselves” He went onto say “It was tough at Barca last season, things are changing but competition is good I want to enjoy my new career now relax in a way” The reporter asked “What did you think of Spain in World cup and who do you think deserved to win?” Xavi responded “Spain were not at the best at all but things happen? Every chicken has it’s day but they will be back, we all wished for Brasil to win after but Germany deserved it they have a big strong team it is good to see these days”
