When Robert and I got married in our little church, we always new we wanted an actual wedding the our families could be a part of-- so we started looking at places and my mom went with me to try on dresses and I remember that day like it was yesterday. I tried on several dresses and wasnt able to even squeeze in a size 16, even with all the spanx help in the world it wasnt happening. I remember leaving that bridal store in almost tears. Just straight sick to my stomach. 😭😢😪 Most girls talk about how beautiful they feel in their wedding dress, so maybe I expected to much--but I, I didnt feel beautiful at all! I felt like an overgrown sno cone, or blob, uncomfortable, and that person in the mirror was miserable. I said I WILL NOT spend money on a wedding and walk down the aisle until I have made down changes in my health and lost some major weight.... WELL.... Drum roll please.... I went back to the same bridal store last night alone just to see what they had and get sized so that I could order my dream dress online....& I tried on a size 6 and it was too big for me!! I about cried!! 😁😃 I am not saying that beauty comes in a certain dress size...but its when you have that confidence in yourself that is true BEAUTY! That girl before wasnt the least bit confident--making changes and this girl is gonna have a wedding! Eeeek 😁🙊🙉🙈
