When You Are Rooted In Love, There Is No Offense Mark 4:16-17 (KJV) 16 And these are they likewise which are sown on stony ground; who, when they have heard the Word, immediately receive it with gladness; 17 AND HAVE NO ROOT IN THEMSELVES, and so endure but for a time: afterward, when affliction or persecution ariseth for the Words sake, immediately they are offended. Are you easily offended? If so, know that it is all rooted in pride. Choose rather to root and ground yourself in the Love of God. When you are tempted to be offended by someone or something, think before you speak or act. The way you handle that temptation will determine how God will react to you and your situation. When you respond in love, AND ARE WILLING TO BE PATIENT WHILE WAITING UPON THE RESULTS, you will discover that the justice of God and the mercy of God will manifest every time. Ephesians 3:17-19 (KJV) 17 That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that you, BEING ROOTED AND GROUNDED IN LOVE, 18 May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; 19 And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.
