† When Your Back is to The Wall † And Moses said to the people, Fear not, stand firm, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will work for you today. For the Egyptians whom you see today, you shall never see again. Exodus 14:13 ESV Standing on the shore of the Red Sea with their back to the water, a group of unarmed former slaves stared out at the most powerful army in the world, who were equipped with heavily armed chariots, the tanks of the time. This had to be terrifying for them. As they stood there Moses told them: fear not, stand firm. The army you see today you will never see again. That is exactly what took place as the army drowned in the Red Sea. Once in our life, after months of being out of work, our finances had finally run out. The week that we prepared to move out of our home, we were trying to decide what to take with us and what to sell. I went into my prayer room and sat down. I no longer had the strength to pray. Those days I just kind of sat there in the quiet to think. While sitting there the Lord gave me a vision, and by the end of the week I had the best job that I ever had, and a friend had suddenly stepped in and paid our bills for the month. Overnight, everything had changed. When your back is to the wall, trust God. He is more than enough. Though it be eleven-fifty-nine on the clock, He will come through. Later when you are looking back, this will be a part of your testimony. Jesus loves you so much that He traded His life for yours! :)
