When a clueless government destroy its capacity to earn revenue from a functioning economy by destroying it but does not quench its insatiable propensity to spend then you have a serious problem. And some of these problems are that because there is no PAYE from people who used to be employees because the companies they worked for closed down, you follow the hapless former employees into the streets where they are vending and declare that you are going to tax the little income they are getting from selling tomatoes and onions. Then you focus on the hapless people who own cell phones and declare you will now tax them for all purchases of phones and the requisite airtime. Folks, my sight may be a problem ( I have worn specs since the days I was a small boy in primary school) but my ears are in perfect working order: I did hear Zimbabwes Finance Minister give his reason for imposing tax on cell phones and airtime and here it is: Most people have cell phones! If this line of thought continues, men will soon be taxed for having wives or girlfriends and women will be taxed for having husbands or boyfriends. Children will be taxed for having parents and parents will be taxed for having children. Hah. The list is endless wunovha washaya kuti zwichaperera papi. Solution is for Morgan Tsvangirai, captain of the Red Engine to step in and stop this glaring clue-lessness. It is for this reason that Morgan Tsvangirai is not just more but more than more.
