When a person is diagnosed with cancer, the oncologist never - TopicsExpress

When a person is diagnosed with cancer, the oncologist never advises the patient to allow the cancer cells to continue growing alongside the healthy cells indefinitely under the guise that they can and will peacefully co-exist. On the contrary, he prescribes either chemotherapy, radiation or surgery to eradicate and eliminate the cancerous cells because if left alone, they will take over and consume the entire body, eventually killing the host. So why do pastors allow false doctrine and the people who promote it to peacefully co-exist - and rise to positions of influence - in their churches instead of lovingly but forcefully confronting them? I have seen far too many good churches go down this road, thinking that the theological cancer cells will leave the healthy ones alone. Far from it... they will not rest until their false doctrine becomes the majority belief. And so the church eventually dies...
