When arguing with someone, always remember to make it about them, - TopicsExpress

When arguing with someone, always remember to make it about them, and not the idea youre talking about. This makes it easier to change their mind. Use you statements, and be sure to draw plenty of conclusions about their personal character based on how you perceive the position they are arguing in favor of. Remember, you are up against an ENEMY who is to be DEFEATED, and this will never be accomplished by doing philosophy in a measured, dispassionate way; in fact, this method carries a very real danger of achieving common understanding. Instead, drag the conversation as far away from the core idea as possible, and remember: ad hominem is the BEST hominem.
