The three-hour program not only provided a challenging workout to the team, but it also served to reinforce some important life and business lessons: the importance of continuous improvement (personal and professional), competitive goal setting to achieve maximum outcomes, and camaraderie,” said Parrish Medical Center President/CEO George Mikitarian. “As a result of this experience, we were reminded and had a greater appreciation of the fact that it doesn’t matter whether we’re developing a new service line, negotiating a contract, or improving a process, success requires us to set challenging goals and expectations for ourselves, continuously assess our own and our team’s talents in relationship to those goals, and then encourage and support each other towards achieving the goals.
