When confronted why Tagalog remains the medium of instruction in many of the schools in Indung Kapampangan, the advocates of the Mother Tongue-Based Multilingual Education Law would counter that the purpose of the law is NOT Kapampangan language advocacy nor preservation but to facilitate classroom instructions. Since majority of Kapampangan parents are raising their children to speak Tagalog at home, it would be easier for them to learn their lessons in Tagalog. Many teachers and school officials have decided that Tagalog is the Mother Language of these Kapampangan children. Therefore the use of the Tagalog language as a medium of instruction in Indung Kapampangan is considered a successful implementation of MTB-MLE in Indung Kapampangan.
