When famous people die, for me its a nothing thing. Ok they are - TopicsExpress

When famous people die, for me its a nothing thing. Ok they are famous and maybe they did some good things. Their family and friends lost someone they love and thats sad. But for me its just a person who died like any person in the world. So why do I feel sad about the death of Mr.Robin Williams? I actually shed a tear. I remembered when Carl Sagan, and I thought the world lost a brilliant mind. When Christopher Hitchens died (my intelligentsia god) someone who had zero fear of challenging and calling bullshit, bullshit. I thought another brilliant mind lost to the world. Though I truly admire and respect Carl Sagan and Christopher Hitchens and many ways they help develop my view and concepts of life. I didnt have this emotional connection to them. Maybe its because when I was young my life my not good but watching Mork & Mindy always made me happy and made me always laugh. I taped the shows and watch them again & again. Mr.Robin Williams say truely crazy things in the shows and I saw the deeper meaning in the things he said. I started to think. He was Carl Sagan and Christopher Hitchens but with a mega fast mind and make one laugh while providing deep social, political, human points to think about.
