When ‘he’ shares stories of torture [both physical and psychological], the common response is to shun away. “No please don’t tell me. I dont want to know. I just want to live in my own little world. Fear of what the ‘authority’ might really do terrifies people into silence, submission exacting the great benefit of state-sponsored terrorism [physical, economic and psychological]. Masses frozen by fear are incapable of demanding from the ‘authority’ that which rightfully belongs to them and later on addressing horrors unfolding. Mass incapacitation and immobilization by fear is necessary for the few to rule over millions. God bless motherland
