When hungry, Im not one to typically stop at a fast food mega burger type place. I prefer local joints like Hungry Onion Drive-In over any of the fast food burgers in town. With that being said it was late at night after a long day and I was starving so I popped into Wendys across from the speedway only to find a BBQ Pulled Pork sandwich on their menu!!! Seriously, as if Arbys and their Brisket sandwich or Carls Juniors Texas Brisket Burger wasnt bad enough now Wendys is jumping on the BBQ bandwagon as well. As the BBQ Legend Mike Mills Says BBQ is a culture not a concept Do yourself a favor and save your hard earned money. Im not one to blow my horn, but if you want BBQ find a place where BBQ is what they do! Low and Slow, hand rubbed and smoked on site! Dont fall for the homogenized, pre-packaged BBQ that the mega food chains are trying to stuff down your throat. Buy local!
