When in a dangerous situation with someone, something important to ask them is this. Are you afraid to die? If they say yes, then ask why, if they tell you one of the reasons are it might hurt to die. Tell them it doesnt. It might hurt a lot to be injured, but Im willing to stake a lot on my guess that it doesnt hurt at all to die. Have you ever been hit hard over the head? Or maybe fallen down hard when you fell off your bike. Didnt it feel strange? Like everything was gone for a few seconds...or maybe like you couldnt see anything..or the world seemed to blur and you became a bit light headed. Thats what its like to die. Like everything is just slipping away and a thick veil is being held over your mind. I know this is a very uncomfortable topic for many people, but I find comfort in the idea that dying feels like your falling into a fluffy pillow world.
