When increasing production volumes, the brewing process gradually - TopicsExpress

When increasing production volumes, the brewing process gradually moves away from the pure craft beer definition; I personally believe this is acceptable as long as the consumer is told on the product. I remember the time brewdog beer was still alive (bottle conditioned) and I preferred that version. One point though; as production increases, so does the profit margin. One could argue at the same time the craft element (quality) of the product is also reduced so shouldnt this aspect be reflected by a reduction in the price? Any thoughts on this? brewdog/blog-article/99
